ADDITIONAL INSPECTION SERVICES
Pre-Listing Inspection
When you have a home inspected before you put it on the market, you are doing yourself a huge favor for a number of reasons. Perhaps most importantly, you’ll learn about potential defects in the home’s construction that you weren’t previously aware of—giving you a chance to communicate this knowledge with prospective buyers so that trust is established at the onset of negotiations. You’ll also have a chance to make recommended repairs to ensure that prospective buyers aren’t discouraged due to the presence of correctable issues.
New Construction Inspection
Before the builder schedules a final walkthrough, we’ll thoroughly inspect the newly constructed home you intend to purchase. We’ll be looking for safety issues and other deficiencies in the property’s construction that you will likely want corrected before closing on the home.
11th Month Warranty Inspection
When the warranty on your new home is approaching its expiration, we recommend scheduling this inspection to ensure that your investment is fully protected. We’ll comprehensively inspect the home’s readily accessible areas, informing you of any defects we discover so that you can consult with the builder’s warranty to see if the cost of repairs will be covered.
Home Maintenance Inspection
This inspection service is available to help you stay up to date with your home’s routine maintenance needs so that you’re able to keep the home in excellent condition. We’ll evaluate the property’s readily accessible areas, providing you with detailed summaries of any maintenance issues that we identify.
4 Point Inspection
A 4 Point Inspection is a limited inspection service that focuses on four areas of a home—the roofing system, plumbing system, HVAC system, and electrical system. Many insurers will require a home to have passed this inspection before you’ll be eligible for a policy.
Re-inspections
Inspection findings that are flagged as defective are never pleasant for prospective home-buyers to discover, but if the seller agrees to make repairs, then we can schedule a Re-inspection for your peace of mind. We’ll return to the property to look over the repaired or replaced component(s), confirming whether or not repairs have been carried out correctly—while also making sure that the repair work hasn’t caused separate issues.
Commercial Property Inspection
This inspection service is designed for light commercial properties such as strip malls, storefronts, and other smaller commercial facilities. We’ll inspect the structure and installed mechanical systems, providing you with a detailed report of our findings that will identify potential defects that we’ve discovered.
Pool Inspection
When the estimated value of a pool is figured into the overall cost of a home, it’s a good idea to schedule this inspection service before an investment becomes final. We’ll inspect the pool’s mechanical systems, basic structure, and accessory components to ensure that no repairs are needed and that the pool is safe for your family to enjoy.
Dock & Seawall Inspection
For this inspection service, we’ll evaluate the condition of a property’s dock or seawall. We’ll carefully look over the entire dock structure in an effort to identify components which may need repaired in order for the dock to be used safely. When inspecting a seawall, we’ll be looking for defective areas that could be causing the seawall to fail at preventing the land from undergoing additional erosion.
